Marinos Pourgouris
Marinos Pourgouris is an associate professor of literary theory and modern Greek studies at the University of Cyprus. He has previously taught courses at Brown University (2005–10) and at Rutgers University where he currently teaches as Odysseus Elytis endowed visiting professor of modern Hellenic studies. His most recent book is The Cyprus Frenzy of 1878 and the British Press (Rowman and Littlefield, and Lexington Books, 2019).
