Marit Trioen
Marit Trioen graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy (Department of German Languages) at Ghent University in 2005, with a thesis concerning the representation of ethnic minorities in German newspapers. In 2006 she undertook Postgraduate Communication Studies at the University of Antwerp. From 2006 to 2008 she worked on a research project The embodiment of journalistic values put to the test: a discourse analysis of the articulation of institutional voices and identities in Flemish newspapers at Erasmus University College Brussels and the Free University of Brussels.
