Marium Durrani
Marium Durrani, Ph.D., works as user researcher at ResQ Club (Finland). Trained as a social-anthropologist, Durrani’s earlier research focused on bringing together scholarship on repair studies, sociology of fashion and social practice theory approaches to the study of clothing use practices. During her post-doctoral research at Aalto University, Durrani explored the socio-psychological influence colours have on the consumption of clothing. In her current position, Durrani’s research and experiences bridge tech-product solutions with circular economy business practices to facilitate societal shifts needed to reduce food waste.
