Markus Wierschem
Markus Wierschem studied English and American literary and cultural studies, philosophy and media studies at St. Olaf College and the University of Paderborn. In 2017, he received his Ph.D. for his dissertation ‘An American apocalypse? Myth, violence, and entropy in the novels of Cormac McCarthy’ (Michigan State University Press, forthcoming), which won the 2018 Ferdinand Schöningh Award. Recent publications include the edited anthology Patterns of Dis|Order in the Natural Sciences and Humanities in Dialogue Series (LIT 2017).
