Martha M. Whitfield
Martha M. Whitfield is a family nurse practitioner working in a rural primary care clinic in Vermont (United States), and a Ph.D. student in nursing at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada, where her research focuses on the development of nurse practitioner capability. Prior to entering nursing Martha spent over 25 years working in the performing arts, including as education manager for The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden (United Kingdom). She holds an MS in nursing and an M.Ed. in interdisciplinary studies.
