Martin Dines

Dr Martin Dines is associate professor of English literature at Kingston University London, where he teaches British and American twentieth-century writing and is chair of the research group Race/Gender Matters. He is the author of The Literature of Suburban Change: Narrating Spatial Complexity in Metropolitan America (Edinburgh University Press, 2020). Other recent and forthcoming publications focus on sub/urban and domestic space in post-war and contemporary British fiction and memoir. He is the past president of the Literary London Society.
