Mary Lynn Damhorst

Mary Lynn Damhorst, Ph.D., is professor emerita in the apparel, merchandising and design programme at Iowa State University. Her research focuses on consumer behaviour towards dress, obesity stereotypes and consumer responses to non-traditional models in apparel advertising. She examines appearance and dress as social discourse and its impacts on body image.
