Mary Stark
Dr Mary Stark is an artist in Rossendale, United Kingdom, who has performed, screened films and exhibited internationally. She gained a practice as research Ph.D. at Manchester School of Art Research Centre in 2020. In 2022 she was a finalist in the Arts Foundation Awards for expanded and experimental animation. In 2017 she was given an Oram Award for innovation in sound and music. Her work is in a number of publications including Cinema Expanded: Avant-Garde Film in the Age of Intermedia (2021) and The Crafty Animator (2019).
