Matthew S. Lindia is pursuing a graduate degree at Georgetown University in communication, culture and technology. He received a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in media studies from Wheaton College. His research interests include the history and development of written language, secondary orality, semiotics, formal cause, hip hop, James Joyce and all things media ecology.
