Maureen Ehrensberger-Dow

Maureen Ehrensberger-Dow is professor of translation studies in the Institute of Translation and Interpreting at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (Winterthur, Switzerland). Her research interests include translation processes, translation in the news, cognitive translatology, ergonomics, human–computer interactions, workplace practice, translation didactics and conceptual transfer. She was principal investigator of the interdisciplinary research project ‘Cognitive and Physical Ergonomics of Translation’, a follow-up of the ‘Capturing Translation Processes’ project, and co-investigator of an interdisciplinary project on language barriers in homecare nursing. She has published in various journals in addition to co-editing a number of special issues on translation process research.
