Max Sexton
Max Sexton leads a degree in film and television theory and practice. He is interested in aesthetics and narrative, particularly in how they can be used to disrupt dominant production practices in drama before forming new paradigms. His latest book, Televisuality in the Contemporary US ‘High-end Series’ (with Dominic Lees, Bloomsbury, 2021), includes arguments about how aesthetics complicate our understanding of how value is assigned to a production.
