Megan Kemple

Megan Kemple is a poet, teaching artist, activist and drama therapy student at NYU. She has performed poetry as far south as Dallas, as far north as Toronto, as far west as Denver and as far east as New York City. Some of her favourite performances include featuring at Bowery Poetry Club, competing at the 2020 Women of the World Poetry Slam and opening for Neil Hilborn. Her first chapbook, American Blasphemies, was released through Ghost City Press in March 2017 and was subsequently staged as an immersive dance piece. She is passionate about using poetry, movement and drama therapy to holistically process trauma.
