Megan Strickfaden

Megan Strickfaden, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Human Ecology, University of Alberta (Canada) and an adjunct professor in the College of Fashion and Design at Donghua University (China). She is a design anthropologist, researcher, design practitioner and educator with hundreds of scholarly outcomes (publications, patents, designed products, exhibitions and films) across 35 years. She bridges theory with practice through arts-based research and co-creation by solving complicated problems for people who live without sight, who move around speedily on wheels and/or process the world uniquely from others.
