Melissa A. Johnson
Melissa A. Johnson (Ph.D.) is a professor in the Department of Communication at NC State University, North Carolina, USA. She holds a doctorate in mass communication research from the School of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Her research is in three areas of communication scholarship: international communication, ethnic media (traditional and digital) and ethnic or international public relations. Much of her work integrates visual communication concepts into these domains.
