Melissa Gordon
Melissa Gordon is an American and British painter living in Brussels. Her practice incorporates writing and editing within and around painting histories. Recent exhibitions include Liquid Gestures, Towner Gallery, Eastbourne, United Kingdom, 2021–22; Vital Signs, Kunsthal Oslo, 2023; Resistances, Stigter Van Doesburg, Amsterdam, 2022; Cubitt 30 at Cubitt Gallery and Iris at the Large Glass, both London 2022. She has exhibited widely amongst solo exhibitions at Spike Island, Bristol and Vleeshal, Middelburg and group exhibitions at Museum Dhont-Dhaenens, Belgium, Eastside Projects, Birmingham, WIELS, Brussels, GARAGE, Rotterdam, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, amongst others. She is the professor of painting at Oslo National Academy.
