Melissa Kirby
Melissa Kirby is a postgraduate researcher working within the School of Music at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Her doctoral research utilizes a participatory action research approach to explore the outcomes of participation in inclusive creative arts education programmes for people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Prior to starting her Ph.D. research, Melissa completed her MA in applied psychology of music at the University of Leeds in 2018, during which time she undertook an international research project at the Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions in Melbourne, Australia.
