MELVYN P. HEYES

Melvyn P. Heyes is a biomedical research scientist and psychotherapist with 26 years of laboratory and consulting experience at the National Institute of Mental Health, the biotechnology industry and patient advocacy organizations. His work focuses on the recognition of patterns of disturbances in psychological and neurological disorders. He is also a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work with internships in the Employee Development Center and the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City. Currently, he is a clinical psychotherapist for children, adolescents, adults and families at the Center for Children and Second Genesis in Maryland.
