Michael Handelsman
Michael Handelsman is professor emeritus of Latin American literature at the University of Tennessee where he directed such programmes as Latin American Studies, Global Studies and the Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships. His principal area of specialization is Ecuadorian literature and culture, and he is a corresponding member of Ecuador’s National Academy of Language.
