Michael Sangyeob Lee
Michael Sangyeob Lee is an assistant professor of telecommunications at Ball State University. He has expertise in interactive video design, video game character believability, design research and human–computer interaction. Before he became an academic, Michael Lee had worked for broadcasting and cable industries, serving various roles including programmer, video editor, technical director and character designer. His main focus is user-directed digital storytelling, features of characters in online role-playing games and the use of uncanny phenomenon in the virtual environments. His research on individuals’ responses to interactive storytelling in online contexts has direct relevance to the current project.
