Michael Stauffacher
Michael Stauffacher is Deputy Head of the Chair Natural and Social Science Interface at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and Research Group Leader, Lecturer and Coordinator of the Major ‘Human-Environment Systems’ at ETH. He graduated in sociology from the University of Zurich (D.Phil.). He further lectures at Leuphana University in Lüneburg (Germany) and at Stellenbosch University (South Africa). Since 2009, he has been serving as President of the Swiss Academic Society for Environmental Research.
