Michaela Angela Davis is an image activist and a writer on African-American style, race, gender and hip-hop culture in the United States. She is the creator of MADFREE: Liberating Conversations About Image Beauty and Power, a multi-platform conversation project with revolutionary women. She was fashion editor for Essence magazine, fashion director for Vibe magazine, and editor-in-chief of Honey magazine.
