Michele J. Ferro
Michele J. Ferro, MA, is both a board-certified art therapist and a registered play therapist. Specializing in trauma, grief and life transitions, she uses the power of the creative arts and play to evoke healing and change. She works with children, teens and adults in both individual and group clinical counselling. Ferro has a private practice in Providence, RI, and facilitates art therapy groups at Hasbro Children’s Hospital supporting children and teens struggling with medical and psychological issues. She also teaches as adjunct faculty at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, in the expressive therapy divisions at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Additionally, she leads collaborative groups for adults to expand self-awareness, combining dreams, dance and art.
