Michele Tager
Dr Michele Tager did her MA and Ph.D. at the University of Natal in the Centre for Cultural and Media Studies. She is a senior lecturer in the Department of Journalism, Film and Television in the School of Communication at the University of Johannesburg. She has been in the position for ten years and teaches across all year levels of the film and television studies degree offered in the department. Her particular field of interest in terms of research has been film and television audience studies but in recent years she has become more engaged in looking at South African Cinema.
