MICHELLE I. SEELIG
Michelle Seelig is associate professor and director of visual journalism in the School of Communication at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. She teaches courses in photography, web design, multimedia design, communication theory, and research methods. She has published articles and presented research in mass communication, visual communication, and communication and technology. Her recent research projects include exploring the presentation of still images on a Website set to music, environmental sound, or narration; trends in traditional media's presence on the web; and examination of the role of environmental photographers in building audience awareness and action.
