Mikko Malmberg

Mikko Malmberg earned an MA in media studies from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, and is a doctoral student at the University of Helsinki’s Faculty of Social Sciences. His Ph.D. project examines how media professionals of migrant backgrounds in Finland participate in popular entertainment and create representations that challenge oppressive cultural hegemonies.
