Milan Hain
Milan Hain is an assistant professor and area head of film studies at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Former Fulbright visiting researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he is the author of Hugo Haas a jeho (americké) filmy ('Hugo Haas and His [American] Films') and editor and co-author of three other books on cinema. His fields of interest include Classical Hollywood and exile cinema. At present, he is researching David O. Selznick’s interactions with the Hollywood star system. He also works as a programmer at Noir Film Festival, Czech Republic.
