Milla Cozart Riggio

Milla Cozart Riggio, Ph.D. (Harvard), is James J. Goodwin Professor of English, Emerita, at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut. She has written numerous articles and edited eleven books, including Teaching Shakespeare through Performance, Ritual and Drama in Iran, Carnival: Culture in Action – The Trinidad Experience and Festive Devils of the Americas and Turning Tides (Caribbean Intersections). She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses including Shakespeare and Film Studies, and has worked as a professional dramaturg. She helped to establish the Trinity College Film Studies Program, which she formerly chaired, and is currently Secretary of the Board of Directors of Cinestudio, an independent Cinema on the Trinity Campus.
