Mindy Stricke

Mindy Stricke is an interdisciplinary artist and photographer whose work combats loneliness. She builds multi-layered, collaborative art experiments and installations that invite the public to map who we are and how we feel about shared, yet often deeply private human experiences such as loss, new motherhood, play, sexuality and most recently, the global pandemic. She abstracts and transforms our everyday objects and stories to reveal new ways of looking at the landscapes of our lives, helping people feel seen and connected to themselves and each other. Stricke is an affiliated researcher at the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University in Montreal.
