Mirjam Gollmitzer
Mirjam Gollmitzer is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. She has received a master's degree from the University of Bamberg in Germany and a second master's degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Mirjam has worked as a print journalist, radio reporter and news reporter in Germany for several years and she also reported for German media from Canada. Her research interests are in European media policy and in the role that news journalism and political talk shows play for democratic societies.
