Mischa Billing
Mischa Billing is a sommelier and associate professor at Örebro University, School of Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Meal Science, where she was instrumental in launching the university’s bachelor’s programmes for sommeliers. She is also a professional taster who specializes in food and drink pairings to create innovative taste experiences and is well known in various media, such as a jury member in the TV4 programme Sweden’s Master Chef, comments on the Nobel festival dinner and a revered wine columnist. Her artistic research is rooted in her experience as a teacher and professional sommelier, which has been supported by the Swedish Research Council concerning haptic perception in multi-disciplinary collaboration.
