Misty Brawner
Misty Brawner is a screenwriter and essayist whose unconventional, ragtag life has helped her craft unique, comedic stories. Her half hour comedy Two Turds in a Punchbowl earned critical acclaim, albeit mostly from friends. Since 2018, Misty has worked with Unreal Media, in partnership with SeriesFest, to produce and facilitate The Writers’ Room Series initiative. Misty earned her MFA in screenwriting for TV and film from Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri, United States, and is a member of the Writers Guild of America West.
