Mohamad Sedighi
Seyed Mohamad Ali Sedighi graduated from Delft University of Technology in 2009, and he recently finalised his doctoral project, titled ‘Inhabitable Voids: Housing Design in Iran’s Period of High-Modernization’, that examines the relationships between the practice of architecture and the everyday life of ordinary people, through the lens of dwelling. He is an experienced educator and practitioner, having earned an honourable mention from Iran’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for the design and construction of an innovative housing prototype in Abrisham Town, Tehran, and a Mellon Funded grant by the Global Architectural History Teaching Collaborative. His recent publication focusing on housing in Iran is published in Planning Perspectives.
