Mohamed Saleh Al-Haj
Mohamed Saleh Al-Haj has taught a range of classes at Sana‘a University on geography, geographic information system (GIS) applications for spatial studies of environmental, cultural, and political models, and seminars on urban planning and climate change mitigation. In recent years, his unrelenting commitment to the documentation and preservation of endangered sites in Yemen, including the Great Mosque of Ibb, which he identifies as among the most urgent, raises awareness about the rich cultural history being lost as a result of the current civil war in Yemen.
