Mohammed H. Alkhabbaz

Mohammed H. Alkhabbaz, an architect and architectural historian, is an Adjunct Instructor at the Lawrence Technological University, Michigan. He holds a BA in architecture from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, a Master of Science in Architectural Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where his doctoral research focused on modern architecture in Saudi Arabia. His areas of expertise and teaching include: modern architecture and urbanism in the Middle East; architecture and climate, post-petroleum architectural design, modern architecture and professional practice in the Middle East, the global history of architecture, and Islamic architecture.
