Monica Geraffo
Monica Geraffo is an independent fashion historian and theorist, and professional costumer and designer for film and television, who believes strongly in the importance of dress in the construction of identity. She received her MA in fashion and textile studies from the Fashion Institute of Technology and her BA in screen arts and cultures from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on representations of fashion within popular culture, especially superhero comics and their film and television adaptations.
