MONTSERRAT RIFÀ-VALLS
Montserrat Rifà-Valls is Serra Hunter Fellow in the Faculty of Education at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and she completed her Ph.D. on curriculum studies and art education. She is currently teaching visual culture and art education in primary and early childhood pre-service teacher education. She is also member of the research group on Migration, Childhood and Education (EMIGRA), which is part of the Research Centre for Migrations Studies (CER-Migracions). As a researcher, she is interested in experimenting with visual narratives and methodologies with the aim of analysing the construction of identities both in the schools and in higher education.
