Morgan Thomas

Morgan Thomas teaches film and modern and contemporary art at the University of Cincinnati. Her current research focuses on linkages between notions of judgement and legality in art and visual culture. Among her publications are contributions to Law and the Visual: Transitions and Transformations (forthcoming), How Aborigines Invented the Idea of Contemporary Art (2011), The Fall of the Studio: Artists at Work (2009), and Rothko (2008). In 2015, with Aaron Cowan, she curated the exhibition Liquid Light: Joseph Marioni at the Reed Gallery, University of Cincinnati.
