Mosisili Sebotsa
Mosisili Sebotsa is a senior lecturer in translation within the framework of the Department of French at the National University of Lesotho. He holds a Ph.D. in languages terminology (Université Lumière Lyon II, France) where he studied the contribution of translation towards the lexical expansion of Sesotho. He has taught language of specialty at Université Lumière Lyon II in France. He has made an impact in Lesotho on issues of language and translation in the context of development. He has published alone and in collaboration with other researchers on issues relating to language, translation, language of specialty, interpreting and linguistics. His current research interests are in literature as a medium through which language finds expression. He takes special interest in the potential relationships between gender and language in the context of development and how these relationships have and/or can influence policy in Lesotho and in the SADC region.
