Muhammad Jameel Yusha’u

Muhammad Jameel Yusha’u is Edward S. Mason fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, and candidate for the mid-career master’s in public administration at Harvard University, United States. He is editor-in chief of Africa Policy Journal at Harvard Kennedy School and the author of Regional Parallelism and Corruption Scandals in Nigeria (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018); and co-editor of the Palgrave Handbook of International Communication and Sustainable Development (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021). He worked as a journalist at the BBC World Service, London, and was a senior lecturer in media and politics at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. He taught global journalism at the University of Sheffield and Mass Communications at Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in journalism studies and an MA in political communication, MBA from I.E. Business School and bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Bayero University, Kano.
