Muriel E. Swijghuisen Reigersberg
Muriel Swijghuisen Reigersberg is an applied ethnomusicologist based at The Open University, UK. Her research focuses on Australian Indigenous choral singing, research ethics and music, health and wellbeing. Muriel worked with the Hopevale community in North Queensland as a choral facilitator. Her work was sponsored by Roehampton University, London, the Queensland Arts Council and appeared in news and radio outlets. Recent publications include the co-edited Making Congregational Music Local in Christian Communities Worldwide (Routledge, 2018).
