Myriam Savage

Myriam Savage (Mimi), Ph.D., RDT/BCT, is a registered drama therapist/board-certified trainer with a doctorate from Lesley University and a background in developing drama and expressive therapy programs in inpatient units for children and adults as well as for neuro-diverse populations. An interim core faculty member in the Expressive Arts and Counseling Department at CIIS, San Francisco and founding faculty for the UCLArts and Healing Social Emotional Arts (SEA) Program, she specializes in narrative research with adopted foster youth. Dr Savage serves as education chair for the North American Drama Therapy Association and directs her own drama therapy alternative training school, SoCal Drama Therapy Center in Los Angeles.
