Nadège Broustau
Nadège Broustau is a professor of communication and holds the chair of public communication at the Free University of Brussels (Université libre de Bruxelles [ULB], Belgium), where she is a member of the Research Center in Information and Communication (ReSIC). She is also an associate professor at the University of Quebec in Montréal (UQAM, Canada). She holds a Ph.D. in public communication and political journalism (Université Laval, Canada), an MA in public communication (Canada) and an MA in journalism (Université Bordeaux 3, France). She has worked as a journalist, a communication advisor and coordinator and a web content editor. Her research interests revolve around media representations of social issues and the interinfluence between journalism and public relations. Her current projects focus on public representations of PTSD in media, support groups and institutions in Belgium, France and Quebec, and on the visibility of psychotrauma within diplomatic communication on social media.
