Nancy Ann Rudd
Nancy Ann Rudd (Ph.D.) is professor of fashion and retail studies in the Human Sciences Department at The Ohio State University. She teaches courses in the social and psychological aspects of appearance, and apparel product development and branding, both undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research since 1990 has been in the area of body image and personal identity, and how these concepts affect self-esteem and appearance management behaviours. She is chair of the University Body Image and Health Task Force.
