Naomi Billingsley

Naomi Billingsley is a scholar of British art, whose primary research interest is in biblical painting and illustration in the Romantic period. After holding postdoctoral positions funded by the Bishop Otter Trust and the Leverhulme Trust, Naomi now works in the cultural sector and continues her research as an independent researcher. She is the author of The Visionary Art of William Blake: Christianity, Romanticism and the Pictorial Imagination (I.B. Tauris, 2018), as well as essays published in journals, edited collections, and online publications on topics including William Blake, the Macklin Bible, and twentieth-century ecclesiastical art.
