Natalia Matskevich-Levin

Natalia Matskevich-Levin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Slavic and East-European Languages and Cultures at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research interests include manipulation of space, intertextuality and construction of surface, or text, in Russian twentieth-century literature, film and art. She is also interested in translation, and her translations of Russian poems have been published in Fantaisie-tableaux (Suite No. 1), Op. 5: For Two Pianos, Four Hands (Alfred Masterwork Edition, 2018). She is a recipient of IU College Graduate Fellowship and Jerzy Kolodziej Excellence in Teaching Award. She is actively involved in the Indiana American Council of Teachers of Russian Olympiada of spoken Russian, organizing a Slavic Poetry Day in the Slavic Department and screenings of Russian films at the IU Summer Language Workshop.
