Nathalie Claessens is a researcher and Ph.D. student of the Media, Policy and Culture Research group at the University of Antwerp (Belgium). Her Ph.D. covers the relationships between the actors that make up the celebrity apparatus, i.e., celebrity, media and audiences. The latter part of the Ph.D. focuses on nursing home residents, media use and interest in celebrities.
