Nelson de Luca Pretto
Nelson De Luca Pretto is a professor at the School of Education at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. He was a visiting scholar at the Theory, Culture and Society Centre at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom, in 2008–2009. He is the author of several books and many book chapters on communications and media themes, was a member of the Bahia State Council of Culture from 2007 to 2010 and is a member of several editorial boards.
