Nicholas Attfield
Nicholas Attfield is lecturer in music at the University of Birmingham. He is the author of the volume on Dinosaur Jr’s album You’re Living All Over Me in the 33 1/3 series (Continuum and Bloomsbury, 2010). Other research interests focus on Austrian and German music and culture from 1870 to 1945. Publications include Challenging the Modern: Conservative Revolution in German Music, 1918–1933 (Oxford University Press and the British Academy, 2017) and Music, Modern Culture and the Critical Ear (edited with Ben Winters) (Ashgate, 2017).
