Nicholas Bishop
Dr Nicholas Bishop is an assistant professor in the Human Development and Family Sciences programme in the School of Family Consumer Sciences at Texas State University. Dr Bishop’s work integrates gerontology, nutritional epidemiology and population health to investigate associations between behavioural choices, social context and change in health status among older adults. Dr Bishop is specifically interested in the identification of potentially modifiable risk factors related to disparities in cognitive and functional decline in ageing populations. In addition to research, Dr Bishop serves as a statistical consultant to faculty members and teaches research methods, statistical methods, and a graduate seminar on health across the life course.
