Nicholas R. Silcox
Nicholas R. Silcox is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of English at New York University. His research and writing interests revolve around environmental issues, media and science and technology. He is working on a dissertation that theorizes pressure via oceanic environments, elementality, sensing and sensor technologies. Additionally, he works as a researcher and coordinator on the Sustainable Subsea Networks project, a research collaboration with the subsea cable industry to make the global internet more sustainable.
